EASTER OUTFITS

Tuesday, March 22, 2016

There's something about Easter that feels so special. We go to church to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus, we spend time with family and take a million photos of our kids. Growing up, we always got new Easter dresses and it's a tradition I will keep with my own. It feels like a right of passage.

In a different life, I'd have already bought all of these outfits for the kids. Instead, I'm scrambling because I'm an organizational disaster half  most of the the time. So let's just call this post:
"What my Kids would Wear for Easter if I had my Sh*t Together"

Everything is from Zara (ALL the heart eyes, ALL the time) with the exception of the big juicy red bow and those sweet little baby shoes

Thanksgiving Outfits

Sunday, November 9, 2014

Thanksgiving is really not that far away (wasn't it just 4th of July!?!) and we are working hard over here to avoid the seduction of christmas. Our christmas thanksgiving tree is up, but I'm holding off on the ornaments & tinsel until Nov. 28th (let's be honest....that's just lip service. Those puppies are going up this week...HEY SANTA!)

In any case, I've been working on finding some Thanskgiving outfits for the kids, as it always proves to be a great time for family pics and this is our first holiday season with two kids  - so naturally, they have to coordinate. #stagemom

little picks for fall

Tuesday, September 2, 2014

Hope y'all had a fabulous labor day weekend! We spent time at home, tightening up the ship :) Our garage is finally dialed in and can fit two cars like a champ, which is way more exciting than it sounds. I went to Anthropologie and spent entirely too much money on "house accents" (guys, just trying to make the house a home ... wink) and even got some time to myself (thanks, mom!) to do a few errands sans kids (which might as well be an all expenses paid trip to Hawaii, because, ahhh! relaxation!) Now that September is here, I can justify busting out all the pumpkins, wreaths and fall candles. While summer is fun, free and has a little sexy appeal, fall is where my heart is. Sex appeal only goes so far, amiright? Fall is where my love languages are met and where I feel like I can be myself --- big sweats, warm comfort food, and pumpkin patches galore!

I've been picking up some fall clothes for the kids over the last few weeks in anticipation of packing up the shorts & tanks and wanted to share my favorite picks over the next few weeks. Zara is always one of my staples and they did not disappoint with their fall clothes this year. How cute are these little duds!?
